Our Most Popular Design - Electric Immersion Water Heater
There are two models available
Both are Designed For Easy, Low Cost Installation
Applications:
The 240V unit is ideally engineered for fast heat-up in water.
The
240V unit is great for baptistries up to 750 Gallons. For
larger baptistries, if you cannot use a circulation heater, order 2 of
these.
The
120 V unit is ideal for areas where only 120V current is available.
The
120 V unit is ideal for
portable baptistries up to 150 gallons.
For larger baptistries over 150 gallons
- order two of the 120V or the 240V model. The 240V model has 4 times the heater
capacity of the 120V!
The
difference in the 240V and 120V is the plug style and how much water
it will heat. Keep in mind the 240V has 4 times the heating power of
the 120V.
Construction Features
- Immersion section of unit made of
Incoloy / Stainless Steel.
- All heat confined to the formed
horizontal section for optimum heat efficiency.
- Cold riser extends to the top of
container where control housing is located.
- 3-Conductor cord set with
polarized plug included for easy installation and wiring at no extra
charge (240V).
- Adjustable vapor-proof thermostat
control with temperature range off - 55°F to 115°F (± 3°).
- Hi-Limit cut out switch set at
125°F (±4°).
- Stainless steel mounting bracket
also supplied for easy mounting.
- Pilot light and on-off switch
provided, indicates desired temperature when reached and breaks
circuit when element is not in use. Saves electricity - Saves money.

Models
- The
IMER-6-42
(6KW) will heat 60 GPH (40° R). A 750 to 1,000 gallon Baptistry can
be heated in 13 to 17 hours, or one-half this time 20 degree rise in
temperature. GPH = gallons per hour.
- 120 V Heater can be operated on
standard household current, and power will be reduced to 1.5KW
and will heat 15 GPH (40°R) or 30 GPH (20°R)
